Twilight books....

Ok so I am finally done with the twilight books and it only took me 7 days. I have only stopped reading in the last week to go to work, sleep, and watch 2 Jazz games. I even missed Idol tonight because I was READING. Now that I am done and thinking about the books I am not sure how I feel about them. I liked them but it was kind of different. Alittle to much lovey dovey hugging and kissing and not enough scary vampire/werewolf fighting. I think this is one series that I may just like the movie better than the books. But I do have to say......GO JAZZ!!

My vacation

So I just got back from vacation a few hours ago. I had a blast in Vegas at the NHRA races and a fun time at home. Just a quick break down of my 8 days of fun (and most importantly no work)

Thursday: I flew into Vegas and my dad picked me up. We went to dinner at the Rio and hung out of the strip. I got to watch the water show in front of the Bellagio (my favorite place on the stip) like 5 times.

Friday: Had breakfast at the Paris and went to the races all day. That night Heather, Crystal, and Trina drove from St. George and ate dinner with us at the Paris. We were so exasted from the day that we just crashed after dinner.

Saturday : Races all day and then drove to St. George and had dinner with the girls again. We watched a movie and stayed up till 2 in the morning at my grandparents house.

Sunday: Drove to my parents house in Clinton. I got to have a family dinner made by my sisters in law and got to play with my Nephews all night long.

Monday: Hung out with my mom and then drove to South Jordan to see Evonne's house. It was a cute house and I was excited to not only see her but also her little girl I haven't seen for a few years. It was fun to just sit and talk. I then got to go to a Jazz game. This was one of my favorite things I got to do. I have missed going. They won so it was even that much better.

Tuesday: Got to do some shopping and visited my friend Kami. I got to see her new baby Ty. Cute baby and definately looks like a Coleman.

Wednesday: Lunch at Cafe Rio...good food. Then Crystal, Janie, and all the kids came over. We got the great news that Janie is pregnant and is due in October. I am so happy for her and Chris!! We then had a BBQ at my brother and sister in laws house and played guitar hero and Wii all night long. Of course more great bonding time with the nephews.

Thursday: Today.....sad day. I had to come back home. Before I did though I visited my grandparents and ate at El Matadors.....yummy.

So now I am back and unfortunately have to go back to work in the morning.....not looking forward to that.

Bon Jovi concert....loved it

I finally got to see Bon Jovi in concert!!! I have loved him since I was about 12 years old....just a few years ago....LOL. It was a fun road trip to San Jose (about 2 1/2 hours from Roseville). Athina, Suzie, Brandi, and I listened to Bon Jovi album the entire way there. (Well Athina slept and the rest of us listened) We had dinner at Amici's pizzeria and then a blondie dessert at Applebee's (yummy)....and then to the concert. I was so excited just walking into the HP Pavillion. First act was Daughtry.....very hot!! When I first moved to Cali 2 years ago I bonded with my roomies over American Idol (we were Chris Daughtry fans). We said back then we would love to see him in concert one day and there we were. He was ok and I knew a few songs but could not wait till Bon Jovi. The moment then came and he did not disappoint. It was fabulous!! He played a mix of new and old songs. There is nothing like being able to sing a song along with the artist. We yelled, screamed, sang, clapped, jumped up and down. Over all one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
